Question about Mazda 626
I have a 99 Mazda 626. Cruise control works great until I turn on my headlights. Then it wont work until I turn my car off.....as if to reset something. Then it will work fine again until I turn on headlights. Any suggestions or can you tell me the problem. BTW...the headlights and blinkers all work fine, I have no light bulbs that are blown either. Thank you...
The cruise control is terminated by the brake lamp circuit, Check the brake, tail lamp for water or a short. Your turn signals are on a different circuit. Check the bulb sockets closely for corrosion. Failing this check connectors for the tail lights for possible water penetration, or loose connections.
Hope this ia of some help
