Question about 2004 Lexus RX 330
My Lexus 1999 RX300 with 95000 miles uses a quart of oil every 400 miles. Changed oil every 3-4,000 miles. Problem started at about 75,000 miles but is getting worse.
My 2001 was having the same issue. I replaced the PCV valve and it fixed the problem. Total Cost 5.00. It is easily accesable but you may have difficulty finding it. It is located Left Rear Top of engine (Passenger side). Its brass and it screws in. I went online at my library and found diagram at this location. http://content.chiltonsonline.com/Repair/PrintView.aspx.

You might have a small oil leak. park on a peice of cardboard overnight. in the morning remove it and look to see if any oil drips are present.
