Need to know the sensor locations are for an ignition spark on a 1989 Beretta 2.8 V-6 - I am not getting any spark to the spark plugs. Why?

You can look up all the sensors and do the proper diagnostics for a no start issue by following the testing procedures in the factory service manual, failure to do so may result in parts being replaced that DO NOT solve the problem. Click HERE

I have a unique problem: the ignition switch in my son's 1989 Beretta now turns freely when you insert the key. We bought a new ignition, and were removing the steering wheel when he got a screw stuck in...

You can bypass the old system and install a lock and ignition switch like the old cars w/o locking steering. It's not a good idea. I would think about asking a locksmith to help or replace the steering column.

Ok my 88 beretta is having stallin issues,it will

Buy a code reader or borrow one if you have a friend that has one. Sounds like ICM (Igniton Control) Or if it isnt fire then try fuel filters. Could even be water in the fuel. hard call without inspecting it

If you want to do it for your self, I strongly recommended to buy the manual book of your car, and it cost you $20.00 bucks only and you will learn more a lot about your car and it help you a lot. ok

My 88 Beretta started making backfire noises and then died. I had to drive it home with the gas pedal floored but it would only reach 5mph.

Mass Airflow is probably defective and setting codes in the computer, have a shop run a diagnostic on it.

Won't start

check your fuel pump relay.. if it is not disengaging after the pressure has reached its max after turning the key off, then the relay is probably faulty.
