Question about Pontiac Firebird
I am re-assembling my Pontiac 301 engine, and did not take a picture of the harmonic balancer and its associated pulleys. there is a single pully, a double pulley(which has to go on the 'outside' of the setup) and a spacer. Does the space go next the harmonic balancer, or inbetween the two pulleys?
Haven't laid eyes on one of those for a really long time!!! If you can't get info. you can do it the really "non technical way": stand next to it and eyeball the pulleys...Especially with the belts on, it's easy to tell if you have them aligned properly (don't have to tighten them up, just enough so they are in straight lines.) You would be surprised at how accurate your eyes are!!!
