Question about 1994 Honda Civic
I was wondering if anybody knew why i am smelling gas a lot in the tailpipe. if you stand behind it you get somewhat of a smell of gas. i was also wondering why there is black smoke coming out of it in the tailpipe as well. i am wondering if the two are linked
Your going to have to get your car scaned for codes. For some reason your car is running rich, "engine is getting to much fuel". It could be as simple as a bad O2 sensor or bad EGR valve or bad fuel pressure regulator.
Just to many things to look for. Simple check is to see if the vacum tube is cracked or fallen off the fuel pressure regulator, other then that. Auto Zone could scan your car free of charge so you can buy what you need to get it running right.
Good luck and hope this helps.
