Question about Cadillac STS
I CAN START THE CAR, DRIVE IT FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES, THEN THE BATTERY VOLTAGE DROPS AND THE CAR DIES, WILL NOT START. TRIED REPLACING THE BATTERY NO LUCK, TOOK THE ALTERNATOR OFF AND TO GET TESTED, TEHY SAY IT IS OKAY. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
Fusable link between the alternator and the starter sounds like the problem ..if link is blown the alternator will not send the charge to the battery or the motor cr is running ofth battery right now ... if this is helpful please rae
