Question about Chevrolet Venture
Here's a great video I'll add to the post that will show you how to replace the wiper motor.">

The wiper motor is under a component called the crank arm assembly. If you remove the plastic cover you will see a torx head screw. There is an arm coming from this metal part that is connected to the wiper arm transmission with two 10mm head nuts.Loosen the nuts to disconnect the arm.Remove the torx screw. The crankarm is a tapered fit to a shaft coming out of the top of the wiper motor.Gently pry off the crankarm and you should have access to the motor.
Note:If you purchase a new motor or crankarm there should be instructions. When reinstalling the crankarm it has to be positioned a certain way in order to time the wipers.

The wiper linkage and blades should be in the neutral position, or where they would normally lie when in the "off" position. Hope this helps. Remember to disconnect the battery while replacing electrical components.

Look online for the wiper module for this model. This is a common issue to include operation without the switch being activated. Everything is controlled by the module which screws directly on the front of the wiper motor by 3 torx head screws and measures about 4" x 4" and is very easy to install. The motor should be on the firewall. The modules run anywhere between $35 and 65. Let me know if you need anything else.
