I am guessing it is the part above the radio. It pulls straight out towards you. All you need is a hook tool ( a tool with a 90' bend at the end) place the tool inside the vent all the way to the left side and hook on the plastic near the edge. While holding the tool firmly to the left to keep it from slipping out (you will scratch the vent if it slips out), pull out straight out towards you, it should pop out off of the clips. A quick swift pull will do it.

Where is the radio fuse for the 2006 Honda Accord? I need to remove it. The radio went bad and its draining my battery

This is not a full solution, but there is more than one fuse box. I believe the fuse you're looking for is in the under-dash fuse box. It's a 10 amp fuse and should be the #1 fuse that also runs the clock and other things. d95a219b-38a0-43fa-acd4-bd071af2eac4.jpg

Can't find the ECU location

Different make and model of cars have different location for it ECU however i most case the ECU is located in the passenger area or engine bay. If it is in the passenger area, most likely it is behind the radio in the center console or behind the glove box.

How do you change the brake light switch for a 2006 honda accord ex v-6?

Hi there,

The switch should be fairly simple to replace. You would need to remove the panel on the underside of the dash that is above your feet when you are sitting in the driver's seat. The switch will be attached to a bracket with either screws or more than likely some plastic holders, remove the switch from the bracket and unplug the wiring from it. Installation is the reverse.

However, if you are unsure of which switch it is, the switch you are looking for under there will come in contact with the brake pedal.

Best of luck!

03 honda accord center vent removal

Your talking about the center dash vent assembly that wraps over the top of the dash correct. honda makes a special tool for this, however I use the hook from my 4peice pick set (it's got to be 4inches or longer). I stick the hook through the center dash vent and hook it on the inside of the air duct (not the adjustable vents) and simply pull toward you. you'll have to use a flash light to make sure you on the edge of the air duct. This pulls the clips and then you disconnect the hazzard switch and the sunlight temp sensor. -hope this helps

How do I remove the radio on a 1987 Honda Accord LXi

Radio & Tape Player
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. If so equipped, disable the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS).
  2. Remove the floor console and the front console panel. On 1984-85 cars, if access to the back of the radio may be gained through other means, such as removing the "pocket" from the console, the console need not be removed.

Radio mounting on 1986-89 Accords

  1. Remove the ashtray and ashtray holder.
  1. On 1986-89 cars:
  2. Remove the coin box, air vents and ashtray lighting bracket.
  3. Remove the dashboard switches on the left and right of the steering wheel.
  4. Lower the steering wheel to its lowest position. Remove the dash visor. This is a large, one-piece assembly which includes the center dash trim. It's plastic; don't break it.
  5. Remove the two screws holding the radio at the rear of the unit.
  6. Carefully push the unit out the front of the dash. When access is gained, disconnect the multi-pin connector and the antenna cable from the unit. Remove the unit.
  7. Reinstall in the reverse order. Take great care not to damage the dash trim and instrument visor. Make certain the connectors are firmly and squarely installed. If applicable, be sure to enable the SRS.

Check engine light

Not sure with such a newer car, but they are usually on the left side of the dash underneath, there will be a small square panel you can remove with a screwdriver, and it should also be labeled. It would say OBD II, or something similar. Hope that helps
