I changed the fuel pump relay still dnt wanna start now im bout to change the whole fusebox harness

Did you check for voltage at the relay socket before replacing the relay ? Most relays have four or five pins , two should have battery voltage , one goes to the fuel pump an the last one is a ground supply from the PCM - powertrain control module - engine computer if you know what that is . If you look on the bottom of the relay it should have some numbers 85,86 , 30,87 ! 30 an 87 are the fuel pump side . 30 is battery voltage for the pump ! 85 is battery voltage an 86 is ground from PCM . Start and die

Go to Autozone.com site and register your vehicle so you can get a free wiring and fusebox diagram.

I have several things to contribute. The keyswitch has 2 terminals which supply energy to the spark system. The START side of the keyswitch and the RUN side both energize the Relays in the Powerbox.

Without knowing how long the truck runs with your problem at each start, I am estimating it could be getting power only while spinning the starter. The engine catches and then dies when the key is released to RUN position.

Looking at your wiring diagram find your power wire from the Ignition key and see if the power is coming off the ignition switch in RUN. If you have power from the Key, then you need to look at the Relays.

Check your fuel pressure to see if the Fuelpump relay kicked out or see if the Ignition relay kicked out power to the ECM. The wiring diagram should help and Fusebox diagrams are available as well.

I hope my info is helpful, please rate my info.

How to wire

Go to Autozone.com and register your vehicle for free. Then you can get free fusebox and wiring diagrams for your specific model. Another site, alldatadiy.com also has info.

If the fusebox is melted some Salvage yards have parts. Car-parts.com has a nationwide finder service.

Depending on what you are changing, remember Relays and use the correct gauge and color wire. If you are having to do this, then something did not break the current. Many fuseboxes will run wires only to the next connector, so you can get a Salvage fusebox to use as a new hub with connectors. Then leave the fuses and Relays intact and remove the old fusebox as a unit, slip in the new unit and reconnect the wire connectors. Much easier than a piecemeal patch.

I hope my solution is helpful.

Headlights go on and off during a trip

Go to Autozone.com and register your vehicle for FREE and then you can get Fusebox diagrams and even chassis wiring layouts. I suspect you have a bad Headlamp Relay. Just look at the Fusebox layout and replace that relay to start with.

When I go to start, no int, lights... weird clicking around glove box... electrical comes up but turn the key and nothing. Help

if your fusebox is behind the glovebox (try pulling glove box past stops by pushing stop tabs), it may be a relay is not working right. Look for relays in the fusebox and isolate the one that's clicking. Take to parts store for replacement. I don't guarantee this will fix, as there might be a bigger problem that's making the relay click.
