2002 mercury mountaineer. Power window won't go up. Can't roll it up with driver control either

THAT SOUNDS LIKE THE MOTOR FOR THE WINDOW REGULATOR HAS GIVE UP ON YOU, YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE THE INNER DOOR PANEL IN ORDER TOO ACCESS THE MOTOR AND TEST IT FIRST TO KNOW IF THAT IS THE PROBLEM, SOMETIMES EVEN THAT IS NOT THAT OFTEN THE PROBLEM IS ONE OF THE SWITCHES, SINCE THE WINDOW WONT MOVE IF ONE OF THEM IS BROKEN INSIDE AND NOT WORKING BECAUSE THE POWER TO THE MOTOR GOES THOUGH BOUGHT BUTTONS
HOPE THIS HELPS

2002 mercury mountaineer on e window not working

All the windows are on the same fuse, if the other windows are working fine, it's not a fuse issue. I susppect the motor or the window regulator.
With your ear close to the door panel, press the window switch up and down, if you hear the motor and grinding noises then the window regulator needs to be replaced, if you don't hear anything then the motor is bad OR no power is getting to the motor. either way you will have to take the door panel off and to fix.

My 1999 mercury mountaineer driver side window went down and will not come back up all the other window work

I'd look at the window regulator.
If you can hear the motor turning then you're gonna need a regulator.

If you throw the switch with the dome light on and the light gets real dim...then ya might have a bad window motor.

These usually come as a complete assembly both motor and window regulator.
They run about $60 on Ebay

Hope this helps...

All 4 windows wont roll down on my 2002 Mountaineer

have the dealer test the body control module with a scanner, it is most likely defective, the test requires a Ford special scan tool called an NGS.

Power windows

Had a blown relay,
I unhooked the positive battery terminal, with a phillips screw driver took the fuse block under the dash loose. Checked the relays with an ohm meter, replaced the bad one. presto it works.

thats all folks.. pardon the humor

Window

take off door panel and see if window has fallen off the track. may have to replace window motor as it is part of the window regulator is inside the motor and that maybe what is out.
