Question about 1999 Dodge Dakota
I have all the bolts and skid plates and cross members off, and both drive lines off. The transmission will still not come off, HELP
If the tranny housing is aluminum and the locating pins are steel they will corrode creating a bond.
It will come apart providing all bolts are removed and not easily!
When replacing tranny put antiseize on all aluminum and steel contact points to prevent future corrosion.
I hope this helps.
