P0300 and p0302

p0300 is for random misfiring. yes it does sound like the ignition module but just for kicks I would inspect all wiring to the module just to make sure you don't have any nicks or other damage. also you say you replaced plugs, how about plug wires? I have seen nicked or misrouted plug wires also cause this

you have a O2 sensor problem. You say you replaced the o2 sensor, the one in the front , before the converter? thats bank 1 sensor 1 ...I would not think a O2 would cause misfires????

I have a 1999 VW Passat 1.8l turbo. It has codes P0300 and others

They may not be firing. I would check spark from coils. You may have a bad coil pack. Do check for any vacuum lines. You can go to autzone.com and register for full free online repair manual
