I changed the starter and it works, but created another problem the engine idle is unstable or rough and check engine now is on, after check with computer valve no 6 misfire. does unstable or rough engine idle happen because one of valve misfire?  or when the vehicle battery is disconnected memory of powertrain control is lost, which may result in driveability problem. I am confuse .....does unstable or rough engine happen because of one of valve misfire or because of memory on powertrain control is lost?   please ..I need your input thank's.

In which way have you tried to jump start the car, leads direct from donor car to the battery of your BMW 325i?

I have a 1998 Nissan Maxima. Yesterday when I went to leave the store it wouldn't start. The engine would just make one click when I tried to turn the key. The battery is working fine. I also replaced the starter in February of this year, so shouldn't be starter. I had someone hook up with jumper cables for 30 minutes just in case and it still just clicked when i tried to start it. It won't even try to turn over. The lights and air all work fine, so I know the battery is fine.

If you have a multimeter, connect it to your battery, and select an appropriate DC voltage range. On my multimeter, I use the 20volt setting.

If your battery shows 12-13.8 volts, then it is not the issue. If your battery voltage is low, then you will probably need a new battery. A flat battery can also indicate that the alternator is not recharging your battery properly, but it could also just mean that your battery is old and needs replacing.

If your engine wont turn over, and if your battery is good, it could be a faulty starter motor.

Those jump start packs need to be charged often, or the battery inside them can stop working. It is possible that your jump starter pack is also broken.

Try jump starting the car from another vehicle, with jumper leads. If you know your battery is dead, you could also just replace it with another one.

You could try checking your spark plug leads, to make sure that they are making proper contact.

Check that the spark plugs are in good condition.

You might need to get your fuel injection system serviced.

My car, an '02 330 CI had a dead battery that didn't act like a dead battery. Will your car start with jumper cables on it? I bought a new key at the dealer for $204. They had to program it there to make it work. I know you can't move your car to get it there though. Good Luck.

My 2001 bmw 325i doesn't have power no light no radio and the interior lights are all off

Sounds like you have a dead battery. Try recharging the battery or get someone with jumper cables to give you a jump. If your battery dies again after driving for at least an hour you likely need a new battery. If the battery in the car is the original, it's time to replace it anyway.

Check for a weak solenoid (spelling) on top of starter. Magnet too weak to throw out the bendix.

If it makes no noise when you try to start it but the lights, radio, etc. all work, replace the starter.

Hi , this sound like the window lifter has broken , it is quite simple to replace , if you car is a salloon you can replace this with no special tools , however if you have a convertable or a coupe you nead the special tool to be able to adjust the window glass after the lifter has been replaced . hope this helps , regards mark .

2003 BMW 325i will start but making noise

It might be a faulty power steering pump. Try checking the level of the power steering fluid. It is probably best you have your power steering system checked by a mechanic.

Does the noise occur only when the vehicle is moving?

Try moving the steering wheel from side to side, while stationary (but don't do it too often, or you might damage something). If the noise is still present when the car is stationary, then it probably is the power steering system.

If the noise only occurs while the vehicle is moving, it could be a problem with the differential/final drive, or even wheel bearings.
