Unless someone out here is going to go measure theirs for you, I doubt if you will get an answer. Remove yours and measure need to remove the old ones to replace them anyhow!!!

Most of the time the auto parts can give you the right length.but if i had to gess your looking at 6to 7 feet long 8 ft at the most. it would be a good i dear to re place the line going to each wheel to . because those will be the next one to go good luck

I have a 98 taurus se w abs. There is a brake line on each side of the master. the passenger side line is broken. can you tell me what it's called, where it goes and what will work?

It is called a brake line, no other name that I know off. You must replace the entire line, they do not make them ready to install so you must use special equipment to manufacture a replacement one, this unfortunately means you need a professional to make up and install the new line.

Need to know size & length of brake line from front to rear

Most of the brake line that you get at the local auto parts stores usually sell 3/16 and it comes in 5 or six feet sow you would have to splice them together and come already with the fittings. They also sell them in smaller lengths.

1995 Ford Taurus rear brake line leaking possible break between the rear brakes. What would I need to replace on the brake line or could this just be something to tighten?

Most likely a rusted brake tube (Line)
You have to determine that
Got to buy tubing at auto parts store, and do your own fabricating and flaring.
Repair shops usually don't like that sort of work
Could just be a flex hose, then you buy and replace

Leaking brake fluid from rear driver side brake lines, need a diagram of how to replace the lines. 1994 ford taurus 3.o v6.thanks

They don't make diagrams for brake lines. The lines are sold in bulk. You need to measure and duplicate the bends in the orignal lines and cut/flare the lines yourself. You will need a tubing cutter, flare tool and tubing bender.

Replacing brake lines

it sounds to me like you may have gotten the wrong ones I would got to NAPA or Autozone and get only the parts you need and if you have the old ones take them with you and also ask for compression fittings it will make the job alot easier and do not forget to bleed the brake lines when done

Bad brake lines

Any good auto parts store (or go online) will have different sizes and length brake lines. They won't have the exact factory line, you will have to use several different lengths with a junction (connector) between each length. They come in lengths of one foot up to about 5 feet, and yes, you should replace all lines if one has rusted through, as the others will fail soon. Check NAPA, Auto Zone, Advanced Auto Parts, JC Whitney, etc. countrycurt0

Rear metal brake lines

To get the length, just get a roll of string, run it along the existing brake line 'til u get to the rubber line. you can cut off the line near the master cylinder, bring it to the parts store, they can tell you what size you need. You will have to use several lengths of line to reach the back. If this line has rotted thru, you should change all the others, as they are likely to fail soon. countrycurt0
