The fill plug is on the left hand side of the diff casing just rearwards of where the left hand drive shaft exits the gearbox. You will need a 10mm square drive (a 3/8" ratchet is close, but you have to make sure it stays in the square) to undo it. The box should be filled to this level.

I just changed the driver side CV joint and all of the manual transmission fluid came out. Where is the filler hole on the manual transmission?

the speeometer drive is removed ( it's a senser) the gear on the senser has a fill mark on it and the oil is filled to the mark though the hole where the drive was removed. It uses GL4 75W90 Gear oil.

Check your transmission fluid level, it's kind of a pain on manual transmissions, you have to get underneath the car

Where location crank sensor suzuki esteem 2000

On the Esteem 1.6L: the Crankshaft Position Sensor is located on the right side (passenger side) of the engine Oil Pan.

For the Esteem 2.0L: the CKP is located behind the engine Flywheel in the back of the engine block. It is necessary to remove the transmission to service the sensor.

What kind transmission fluid for 2001 suzuki esteem

This does depend to a degree on area of use (ie cold or hot) and is always specified in the Owner's Operation Manual in the glove box. Having said that, if it's an auto, then DEXRON-IIE or DEXRON-III is recommended, or in a manual, API GL-4, 75W-90 manual transaxle oil is recommended in my market - Australia.

GRADE OF OIL AND OIL FILTER NEEDED FOR A 1997 SUZUKI ESTEEM?

Use a 5w30 oil and the filter the parts person and/or book says to use for that car.

Don't use Fram oil filters. use the cheapest filter that is not fram and any name brand oil that is 5w30.

Autozone has a deal right now for 5qts of oil and a filter for $13

I'm just a girl. 99 suzuki esteem 1.8L wagon wont shift into 2nd. grinding type noise heard in first gear when accelerating from takeoff then wont shift into 2nd at all. no problem or noise noted when...

Did you check the oil level inside the gear box? Most people never service the car, so this part gets neglected. if it ran out of oil, you probaply broke it(a big repair bill).
Try putting oil(probably 90w gear oil;check a manual, internet to make sure;if you make a mistake dont worry any oil is better than NO oil).
Check the differential fluid level too;same thing will happen if you neglect doing this.
