You can use a pick set to remove the rest of the key yourself for little to no cost or you can call a locksmith to remove the broken part in the ignition it will more than likely cost atleast 30 to 50 dollars for the auto locksmith

My 2003 impala keeps cutting off and will not crank with the key everyone say it's the anti theaft system

It could be.

Put the key in the ignition and turn the ignition on/off several times. Then leave the key in with the ignition switched on for about 3-4 minutes. Then try and start the car.

Sometimes the system doesn't recognise the key.

Failing that, ask an auto electrician for an opinion.

How do I fix the istop on my mazda 3 as it keeps flashing orange?

Hi Catriona,

It seems that the main battery and the i-stop battery has run down and the voltage is too low.

Apparently this is an issue which the dealerships knows about. Diagnostics may alleviate the problem for a couple of days, but won't resolve the issue. Replacing the batteries will, but it also seems that there might be an parasitic amp draw on your vehicle which runs the batteries flat over 2 - 3 days of not driving.

Best bet will be to take it to a qualified person to do such a test - Auto electrician - and ask for a second opinion as it could be a factory fault if still under warranty.

Hope this helps

Lost keys for my mazda 3 2004

The only thing you can really do is go to the dealership with the VIN of your car, and he can get you new keys. They're going to be expensive, though. You don't have a keyless entry? If you did, you could find a way to turn your car on through fumbling with the ignition, but, you may ruin it, not a very wise choice.

Ignition key gets burning hot

This should set off alarm bells. Get an auto-electrician to look at this asap. My best guess would be that some electric short is passing through your ignition key.
be very careful, I would strongly advise against driving this car until this issue has been resolved.

check your fuses, connections to your starter motor, earth leads and realys, it there is not a problem there then you will have to go to an auto electrician to see if the starter motor is broken.

Replacing front bumper of mazda mx5

It should only need little plastic pins and screws. You could get these at Auto Zone or another auto part store near you.

Take some "electoclean" spray and hose down the key slot ( 4 bursts). Then spray the key and insert to work it around. My car did the same thing and it clears the beeping noise and allows the security system to engage.
