Horn doesn't work, can't find the fuse on the fuse panel on the drivers side dash panel or the passenger side dash panel. Also have that clicking noise when I put my 04 Alero in park and it idles.

check the wires that connect to the horn for any loose connections.

2005 Chevy impala horn issue. Horn is not working in the car, check the fuses under the hood and they are good. Also put 12v directly to the horn and sounded like it tried to work once but still didn't...

hi alicia, the clicking noise after you push the horn is a solenoide engaging which means this part of the circuit is ok.... you say you tried 12v directly to the horn and sounded like it tried to work once but still didn't honk. that tells me the problem, is with the horn. some horns in older cars have an adjusting screw, some-where on the side . if yours doesn't have one then apart from pulling the horn apart (if its screwed together as a lot of older ones are) buy a second hand horn....(note i have had this problem in the past and adjusting the screw in or out has fixed it .... there was a lock nut on the screw as well) hope this helps.... pete...

The horn won't honk. What do I need to do to fix the problem. What does it mean to have service ride control show up/

If you hear clicking near the engine compartment fuse and relay box when the horn pad is pressed, then you need to check the horn fuse,(probably have to look the location up in the owners manual) if the fuse is blown, you may have shorted out horns or a short in the wiring to the horns. Usually there are two horns for the vehicle and if you install a good fuse in the horn circuit then unplug one horn and test the operation the horn may work or the fuse will blow again. If the horn works, disconnect it and reconnect the other and retest,if the horn does not work and the fuse blows, you have found your bad horn. Good luck.

There are two main causes for Service Ride Control message - active strut failure and accelerometer failure.

2005 sierra horns stopped working. I hear a click at the fuse box under the hood when i press horn. I know horns are good as i wired them direct. is there another fuse somewhere other than in the fuse box...

The click you hear is the horn relay -- this likely has either dirty / corroded connections or burned contacts inside the relay. If cleaning all relevant connections doesn't solve the problem, replace the relay. You can find the realy by having someone push the horn button while you track down the click.

I have a 1992 lincoln towncar! when i press the horn button ,i get a clicking sound from under the hood..I tried pressing again a short honk then nothing the relay fuse is good and the fuse is good what is...

You may have a poor connection in the wiring to the horns or the grounding connection. The click you hear is the horn relay. Have someone press the horn button while you wiggle wires. Also try rapping on the horns themselves with a stick or screwdriver handle--if that makes them honk, the internal contacts may be bad. Replace them if that is so, as they are usually sealed. Hope this helps!

The horn dose not honk, ford 150, 2005

Did you check the fuse for the horn ?

Next, check the horn connector with a meter ( set to DC volts ) and have someone press the horn button, you should get + DC at the connector.

If not, pull the horn relay, and jumper the normally open contact ( red line in the diagram below )

With this jumpered, and the horn fuse good, the horns should sound. If not, recheck the fuse or could be an issue with the horn connector.

Horn won't honk from horn button on wheel. Horn works from panic button. How can I check button on steering wheel? The car is a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis. Thanks for help.

I replaced the horn relay which is located inside of fuse panel under the hood of car on the firewall, have someone push button to be able to hear a clicking sound coming out of the correct relay, then trade out relay of the same and see if horn works

My horn does not work. I press the horn, but all i hear is a click in the fuse box. Checked the fuse and it is good. I bought it from a auction and had problems with the alarm and locking because i didnt...

If the horn fuse ( Fuse #26 ) is installed and has power on both sides of the fuse, you might want to check that the horn connector is still on the horns.

The horn relay is not serviceable in the fuse panel.

You can test the horn connector for power, the Yellow w/ Light Green wire, when the horn button is pressed.

My horn isnt connected.

The only thing that should click in a fuse box is a relay and i'm pretty sure you don't have a relay for the horn. Check the fuse for the horn. thats all i know to tell you.
