SOURCE: i have a porsche 911 with electric windows and the

to all ... it is easy..
position the(window) switch so the one (single-male )connector is up.
To this connector goes the split red-black stripe wire -the other end goes to the bottom left.Bottom right is the brown wire.
Middle wires are blue with white and black stripes .Position them so the window goes up correctly when you use the switch.
that is all ,now you can plug the switch back to the panel...

hello there
As you are looking at the switch ,the single connector should be on the top.
Top single conn. is linked with bottom left(red wire)
Bottom right -brown
middle left is blue with black strip
middle right blue with white stripe.
Sometimes this middle wires should be switched(left-right position), the are for window doing up and down.
Same goes for the front switch for pass window.

i hope this helps

Head lights will not come on, fuse is fine, I can jump the system with another fuse located on the fuse panel. Is there a relay somewhere, where can I get the nomenclatures for the part numbers on the...

There are no relays involved in the headlamp circuits on a 1989 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24.
The headlamp switch gets power on pin "C" (RED wire) from fusible link "A" which attaches to the starter solenoid. The headlamp switch sends the power from pin "D" (YELLOW wire) to the dimmer switch pin "C" and the dimmer switch sends the power either to the high beam lights pin "B" (LIGHT GREEN wire) or the low beam lights pin "D" (TAN wire) depending on which position it is in.

1992 Porsche 911 speedometer has stopped working. What could be the problem...?

The speedometer on our 911 was not working either. Speedos measure spinning magnets that are glued to a disk in the transaxle. Sometimes they come off. I replaced the disk...didn't fix. Sent Speedo to a shop in CA and they said unit was fine. Even took car to master mech at a Porsche shop, he couldn't solve issue either. Turns out our problem was the ignition switch. The speedo has one wire lead coming from the back of the switch. I determined that needed replacing when I ran a wire from the battery directly to the speedo. Replacing the ignition switch SOLVED out problem.
