usually o2 sensors would give lean or rich fuel mix engine code, not sure why u changed coil!only thing ican suggest is tune up! cap rotor, spark plugs, wires, fuel and air filter!theres no check engine light code,so ecm did not pick up any problem in engine performance.usually o2 sensors would give lean or rich fuel mix engine code, not sure why u changed coil!only thing ican suggest is tune up! cap rotor, spark plugs, wires, fuel and air filter!theres no check engine light code,so ecm did not pick up any problem in engine performance.

It's a really simple fix. Just take the plastic of around the column and the will be an orange and a white wire that runs to the button on the shifter. One of those wires are probably broken. Very common problem on these trucks. You can solder and heat shrink it or use a butconnector. Doesn't take too long at all. Hope this helps. It's how I've fixed the last five anyway. I actually added some extra wire and rerouted it in the column plastic. The tilt wheel seems to cut it so it's just bad location on GM trucks behalf
There is a light sensor that tells the truck if it is night or day on the dash. Make sure that is it not covered up. If is is not then you may have a bad sensor. It sounds like the sensor is telling the truck that it is night every time the truck is running.
Start the tuck with the park brake on to see if the light come on when it starts. If they do you have a bad relay if not it is most likely that sensor on the dash.
I put a new fuel pump, fuel filter, and a fuel pump relay and the fuel pump is still not coming on. I am not getting any fuel. Can you please tell me what it might be.
The noise is caused by the axle button being worn out, this lets the axle move back and forth and clunk, this is a unique problem with C clip retained axles, it is a noise issue but will not fail and cause any more damage, in order to fix it you must have the axles pulled and the diff carrier checked for excess wear where the axle retainning C clip rides, if the carrier is ok then replace the axles.
