Question about 2001 Nissan Maxima
When my 01 Maxima GLE is running, or the key is at least in the on position, and the fuse is blown, everything works fine except the interior lights (dome, vanity, door, trunk). When the fuse is good, everthing works. The fuse burns out between minutes and hours of driving. At this point, with the car not "on", the remote and power locks in the door stop working. The interior lights never work unless the fuse is good. I think it's a short but where should I look?
I would first look in the main wire harness unbdere the dash on the drivers side it leads into the door also there is a harness that leads up the steering column to your dimmer/turnsignal module in the steering column. if your door locks stop working it colud be the master switch control in the drivers door this is whjere i would look for the short
