The rear brake pivots maybe seized. look at the back of the brake drums see where the brake cable meets the brakes, there is a leaver there that is suppost to pivot if it is seized. you will need to remove the drums unbolt the e-brake leaver and take it apart to clean the rust out. you maybe able to unseize it by spraying wd-40 into it and working it, but you will need to take it apart to prevent it happening again.

I just changed the front disc brakes on my 2006 toyota tacoma and brake fluid is leaking from the brakes?? Why

If you replaced your brakes correctly you should not have any brake fluid. If you have seperated the caliper you may need to get the caliper repaired.

Brake light stays on fluid levels ok and pads ok its accualy a 2000 tacoma but the light came on and off before for about 2 weeks now it just stays on.

Check the brake light switch, the button on it may be stuck in.
It's under the dash, near the top and back side of the brake pedal.

Try turning the parking brake handle and pressing it in. If that does not work then replace the under dash sensor on the parking brake (not the brake pedal). Hope this helps.
