Question about 1999 GMC Suburban
Get under truck go to the back of the rear-end housing shoul be a plug u can take out and u can kinda see in you can add the gear oil in that same hole you can only add oil up to the bottom of hole then put plug back and go on to next project

The rear end gear box usually has fill plug about 1/3 of
the way up the gear box housing. The gear oil is usually filled to the bottom
side of the plug. In other words, if you were to try to add gear oil, you would
stop when the oil starts to spill back out of the plug hole.
