Usually running into a parking concrete stop that most store use to keep you from running up on the sidewalk. You may hear a little scraping noise and don't think that it is important, but most of the time this little noise is the air dam underneath the radiator being shoved back into your condenser. This damages the condenser and it starts leaking and then the A/C doesn't have enough freon, so you get no cold air.

AC compressor does not come on

too many possibilities my friend, low Freon, compressor clutch locked up, pressure switch failure, system contamination, most shops offer a free system check, find one and see what they say after hooking up their gauges.

2002 saturn sl1 not blowing cold air from ac even though recharged

Is ac compressor even coming on? Did it work before the water pump was replaced? Do the radiator fan(s) come on when ac is turned on?

Air condisioner compressor will not engage

Possible that the AC switch is faulty or the SOLENOID CLUTCH is not working thereby not activating the pulley to turn the compressor.
If so it can be failure of the solenoid.

About the only thing you could damage as a result of going over a curb resulting in coolant loss would be damage to the bottom of the radiator...This radiator has plastic side tanks which are susceptible to damage...The real damage may be related to any under car crossmembers which may have to be straightend or replaced...Also check for any damage to AC condenser which is located in front of radiator...One simple way to check that is to see if AC is working now provided that it workrd before incident with curb

2001 Saturn L200 blower motor does not work in highest switch position. Move switch down to next lowest position and it works normally. This is in AC mode.

Blower motor resistor. Located next to/ near the blower motor itself. These are common failures for no high speed blower operation.
