Hello,yes you have a 6 cylinder petrol engine,engine 103 have a tensioning device,it has a torsional torque to keep constantly in tension,no need to adjust,if your belt is loose,maybe your tensioning device need tobe check,ty

Try or (have your mechanic) remove oil pressure switch and clean. They gum up and it's a safety feature that when car is in accident and/or roll over, when oil pressure drops (eng quits) power to fuel pump shuts off. Sticking oil pressure switch is common on Benz Diesels

Ineed to replace the cerpentime belt on my 1993 mercedes 300E 2.8 engine How do i do that.


need to find the belt tensioner and spring it forward then pull belt off make sure you remember the sequence the belt goes

Ac fan blower location in merc 300e


The blower is accessed from the engine firewall, not from the inside. To access this, the windshield wiper motor has to be removed, then you will see the access to the Blower.
