2001 s ten pickup my engine just stopped running while going down the expressway and would not start back up it would turn over but not start?

    i checked the coil wire and i got spark and i also check for fuel and i also have that, that's why i can't understand why it won't start back up.

    have the system tested for trouble codes, see if it has fuel pressure and spark as well.

Check your gas filter, it may be clogged and your engine is not getting gas.

    The only other thing I can think of is the timing is off...if you're getting all of that, then the only thing left is the timing.

It sounds like the timing belt may have slipped on the sprockets, check the timing belt .

My 1988 300 E stops running after 10 min and will not start for 30 min. when cranking the motor to start it sounds like the timing is off

How would I reset my 2001 Grand Am Gt! The security light stays on when I turn it to on....and no gas is getting to the engine! So everyone says that I need to reset it! BUT DONT KNOW HOW TO?
Turn key to run, click the engine but do not let it start then relax back to the run position. You will now see the security light on
After about ten minutes light will go off.
Turn key off and back on to run within 5 seconds

Repeat above procedure for a total of 3 ten minute relearns.

After done turn key off and Then start engine.

2003 dodge pickup 5.7 hemi motor ---- driving along fine stoped at stop light it started to run rough , then stalled ,it started back up then stalled again . now it will roll over ok but will not...
your problem sounds fuel related chk your fuel pressure. or simply turn key off then to on position (engine off) and see if u can hear your fuel pump run (2-3 sec) then it will turn off.
