Question about 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
I can't seem to locate a coolant leak on the passenger side of a 2004 monte carlo. It is dripping at the back side of the engine but behind the firewall. I can't find any leaking at the heater hoses or radiator hoses. The block is dry at the thermostate. My wife came home and the coolant light came on just as she arrived home. The radiator is wet at the filler neck which I think is from overheating. The overfow resevior was quite low. I filled the resevior and ran the engine to cool it down. After complete cool down I test drove it about 10 miles. I checked the resevior and it was empty and then I noticed the dripping under the vehicle. Any ideas where it is comming from. Thanks in advance.
Check passenger floor board for dampness under mat
At heater core fire wall the drip is inside vehicle
Suggest buy a coupler splice heater core hoses and connect together by coupler and hose clamps
Heater core replacement is going to cost a pretty penny they have to pull dash, supports, ac ducts, move wires out the way
The coupler is a buck and some of your labor
If you can get fixed get it fixed before next winter the coupler only bypasses the heater core
