Broke a tube on the front of my 96 blazer fuel tank

I have no idea what this little tube that connects to a plastic fastener is, but I broke it off and now I can't put the tank back in until I have a new fastener. Its located in the front of the the tank separate from the float and pump. Parts department is closed at the local GM and I got to get my kids to school on Monday! Please help

Thank you

Take it to your local auto parts store and ask them, they should be able to help you...if you take it to a dealer it will cost you an arm and a leg.

How do I remove the plastic part of the dashboard around the defroster vent?

after you remove the main dash there are 4-5 bolts across the top of dash that hold the front dash piece in . and where the dash fits by the windshield are plastic tabs that slide into metal sleeves. When you remove bolts you have to pull dash away from window with a little force as those metal fasteners are very grippy. be very careful not to get pissed and impatient as you do not want to break the plastic tabs that hold dash down. Thank god i only broke one as there is 4 and any more broke would be a rattle noise probably . take your time and dont break things, you will be glad you did

The ground terminal that goes to the battery has this little ground coming out the side that is suppose to go to the body some where it broke off and i cant find where it goes i have a 96 chevy blazer

Put a new ring terminal on the end of the wire and then refasten it to the body where ever it will reach. You might have to remove a fender bolt or fasten it to the rad support, make sure where ever you chose is free of paint by sanding or scrapping it first. The wire that broke off is a body ground,so fasten it to a clean part of the body, not the engine.

I have a 1998 Chevy Blazer 4.3 Vortech that will not start.

You may want to check your fuel regulator and check your injectors. Had the same issue with a 96 and replaced the whole CSFI spider assembly with a MFI spider assembly and problem was solved.

I broke one of the connectors while changing a fuel filter. The two hoses that run to the rear of the van,I took the front one off,But when I tried to remove the back one the plastic connector broke on me....

Relieve system pressure. Disconnect battery negative cable. Drain fuel down as much as you can, support tank and lower/loosen straps to get access to pump & see what your missing or what broke. May be just retainer clip.

Roll over valve problems

There is an o-ring for a seal on the end of the tube. It is either missing or cut. Replace the o ring and make sure the end is smooth. Should fix your leak.
