What is cause of temperature gauge indicating overheating and steam coming from engine and coolant leaking?

First off you are going to need a engine or a full rebuild if the temp gauge redlined.. The cause could be numerous things but if it was steaming from the back of the motor then it's either heater core hose busted or blown freeze plug.

When I start engine engine noise or knock, white smoke comes out exhaust,

It is actually steam. The head gasket has failed and the knock is either the pistons trying to compress liquid or the oil has been thinned out from the coolant.

Y would water be coming out the bk of my bmw engine and making it steam

In cold weather some steaming is normal as a cold engine warms up. Otherwise, it sounds like a blown head gasket.

Chugs hesitatesa and dies steam coming from engine

have a pressure test done on the cooling system. Have a compression test done on the engine to test for head gasket /cracked head. From your description you are over heating the engine and that is why there is steam from the engine

Steam coming from right side of engine

I am not familiar with this specific vehicle. Open hood while engine is running and see where this steam is coming from. If from around the new water pump I would say bad installation. If it's coming from another area, see if bad hose, replace, or possible head gasket, repair soon, it could be as simple as a hose clamp that needs to be tightened. Only you can see this. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

Losin radiator fluid steamin coming from the bottom of the engine

probably a bad water pump.. steam escaping from the small hole behind the pulley or around the gasket. before changing water pump though, search for exactly where the steam is coming from... could be just a worn hose.

You have a steamed-up windshield on the inside? Yes,the heater core has a leak.Passenger side foot well full of coolant?

If steam is inside the engine compartment, you just have a blown heater hose WAY back there.
