ok i tried everything i checked the inirtia switch its ok.i checked fuel pump with a volt meter infinate resistance.so i pulled the tank and realised one of the connectors was dirty and cleaned.i then had no resistance to pump after .the relay has four wires going into it yellow pink red and brown.yellow is power.pink is power to pump .when i turn key on there is no power.but if i bypass relay and jump yellow and pink pump comes on.im nor sure if the relay is screwed.but i think so.not sure how to tell.anyway i wanted to hear the car run so i jumped the two.had great fuel pressure.but the car still doesent start.pulled fuel line off throttle body getting lots of gas there.but gas isnt going into carb.dump gas down carb with pop bottle and car starts fine..i was wondering if this has anything to do with the relay not being there.i am lost my friend thinkis it is the injectors.i dont think so because what are the odds of both going at the same time.i bought new fuel pump.not the prob.is there any way to check the injectors.maybe a fuse somewhere screwing me over.any suggestions will help.im leaning towrds the relay.cause the wires going to injectors are brown and red as well.and when i check with a volt meter at the relay it has less than 10 volts on the brown and red wires

Those years had an inertia switch. Not 100% sure where on that, but in trunk behind side panel on drivers side was common. Little button on top, push down to reset. I will see if I can find exact location and get back, but check there for now. Behind Kick panel by drivers left foot was another.

Why does the fuel pump stay on after the key is turned off?

the fuel pump relay is mounted in the trunk, behind the back seat and on the passanger side. The relay base is green in color. It sounds like the fuel pump relay is stuck on, the secondary circuit is always on. Check/ replace the relay.

Car won't crank check for fuel and no fuel put gas in and check the fuses everything seams good check for power going to the fuel pump with the switch on and there is no power to the fuel pump. We

Fuel pump will only have power for 2 seconds unless engine is cranking or running. Most common cause for ur problem is a broken dowel pin in the cam gear causing the timing to be out just enough to shut itdown

88 thunderbird turbo coupe fuel pump

have you checked all fuses under the hood? have you checked the fuel pump relay? you may be able to swap the fuel pump relay with amother relay in the fuse box.are you getting power into and out of the reset switch? from there it goes to the fuel pump. if power is getting to the fuel pump and it has a good ground, the the pump is bad.

92' ford thunderbird fuel pump doesnt stay on ?

Did you replace the fuel filter? Have you checked the pressure from the fuel rail? Check vacuum hoses for cracks? Check vacuum pressure and engine compression? Check fuel pump relay?

95 Grandprix will not start. Found the Fuel Injection fuse blown, Unplugged all injectors and fuse still blows. With ECM disconnected the fuse does not blow yet still has power

it will not blow when ECM is disconnected, cause there is no power to the injectors when you disconnect the ECM. When you turn ignition on check for fuel pressure at fuel rail. Release pressure at nipple on fuel rail. If no pressure exists puel pump is shot. If there is pressure your fuel filter might be plugged.

Fuel pump not getting power 1985 928s porsche

chck out this site, it has free diagrams etc in pdf format:-

Your problem can also be with the Bosch ECU, these are prone to failing and also control the fuel pump, they can however be rebuilt.
