My car has very similar issues. The A/C will blow cold air on the driver side, but the passenger is hot. Feels like the engine heat...but if I turn on the heat, the passenger side stays somewhat cool, but the right is hot. I also get that "Service (P)" error. From reading other posts the dual climate control valve is attached to the parking brake functionality...

Most likely you have a bad dual climate control valve. This is the valve located next to the radiator on the passenger side. This will spike the electronic park brake module and knock it off line. You will have to have the valve replaced and the park brake module re-calibrated. This will have to be done by the dealer or someone with a scan tool that can communicate with all of the on board modules.

Brake light stays on, I know this is the park brake switch, how do I fix

this means that your rear parking brake cables are frozen, replace them, and adjust them, or no state inspection stickers for you.

2000 park avenue has no dash lights and no tail lights. Brake lights work tho. Spent over $500 so far on this, to no avail.....dealer claims they ran a new wire between front and rear fuse panel, lights...

Take it back to them, don't let them guess what the problem is, hell a shade tree mechanic can do that, and don't pay them anymore money, fix it right. running a wire means there is a broken, shorted, grounded wire, for $500, I would be pissed.

My 1995 Chevy Tahoe brake light switch wont stay in position and the brake lights stay on. I replaced the switch and had the same problem.

Brake Light Switch REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disable the SIR system (if equipped).
  3. Remove the clip (R/V Series) or unclip the switch (C/K Series) and unplug the electrical connector from the brake light switch.
  4. Remove the switch.
  5. Installation is the reverse of removal.
