Often times the inner hub of the rim seizes up in the spindle. use the wd40 on the studs and the rim hub and let sit for an hour then your going to have to use you foot to kick the tir on the top and the bottom of the tire untill it works loose. also have somehelp you by using a big sledge hammer to hit the back side as you hit from the front of the tire this will work quite well. in no time tyhe tire and rim will come off . then use a anti seize on the spindle hub not on the studs when you replace the tire.

Steerig wheel has shaking at all speeds abocve 15mph on my 19999 gmc suburban w/4 wheel dr iiivei

If the steering wheel moves back and forth at 15-20MPH, the tires most likely have a slipped belt. The only way to diagnose which one is bad is to get a full size spare and put it in place of one front wheel, drive it and see if the problem is still there. If it is, put the wheel back on and the spare on the opposite side and drive it again.

Removing the spare tire from a 2005 Chev Silverado

These can be very difficult to deal with. What I've found is that the safety catch gets filled with grit and won't release properly. We usually support the tire with blocks so the weight of the tire is not on the cable and then you can, sometimes, reach up and work the safety catch enough to get it to disengage...But I have seen them so stuck that we've had to cut the secondary lock off which means you have to replace it if you want your spare back under the chassis again. I see the most problems with these in gravel and dirt road areas or areas that use lots of salt and sand in the winter.

My 08 rav 4 has a small bouncing feeling when

What you can do is put the spare on either front wheel and find the bad side. Then look at the tread and see if it is running straight or has a zig-zag to it. That will be a bad belt. Check for lumps or bulges on the bad tire.

If the tire looks good, go to a tire place and have them balance it and reinstall it on your vehicle. For a small fee they will put back everything you changed.

Change spare tire removing spare tire

Put the car on a level ground, with the transmission in PARK. Lossen the nuts of the tire to change. Chuck back-tires if changing front, or chuck front-tires if changing back-tires. Jack up the car enough to raise the concerned tire off the ground. Remove nuts, and pull out the tire. Put in spare tire.
Hand tighten the nuts a considerable, but you might use the wrench to tighten a bit because this is a big/heavy car. Lower the car, and again tighten the nuts securely in a diagonal pattern with the wrench- two grunts used to be the rule of the thumb.

Need to access the spare tire on a 2000 ford explorer. IS there a special tool to lower the tire- how do I use it?

Yes, look under the hood in the front you will see a long rod looking thing held in with clips.Take this out and open the back of the explorer at the bottom center you see a hole facing the front of the car insert the rod and turn after it locks in. This will lower the spare.

How do i unlock the spare tire?

If the spare is under the rear of the van you will have to open the rear hatch and lift the carpet up to reveal what looks like a big nut. Using the wrench that you take the tires off with turn that nut counter clockwise and that will lower the spare tire. Turn it the other way to raise the tire.

I do not have the "key" to remove the spare tire mounted on the

You are needing the wheel lock key for the nut that holds the spare tire on. If yours is lost then you may need to just go to the dealership and see about a replacement or see about borrowing one for a second to remove the lock. If they dont let you or they cost too much you can try and borrow one at any friendly body shop you might encounter. I know that the shop I used to work at kept a set of the most common locks so that we could remove them from wrecked cars.
