The A/C stopped working and I checked the fuses in the engine compartment and passenger compartment. All fuse were fine. I purchased and replaced the power steering fan, because it is on the same circuit as the A/C. Is the radiator fan on the same circuit? Is there some hidden fuses in the engine compartment or somewhere on the car? I do not believe that the compressor is bad, but I haven't ruled it out.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Let's start with the passenger compartment fuse box. If you checked the 30A HEATER fuse the blower motor should run at various speeds as you operate the blower switch. If you checked the 10A REAR WIPER fuse (!), and also checked the 30A ADD (?) fuse in the engine compartment fuse relay box, turning on the air conditioner should operate the A/C relay to turn on the condenser fan motor. If this doesn't solve your problem, you'll have to trace power through the various circuits.

Check the air conditioner fuse and replace as necessary.
Air conditioner system discharged.
Have the system evacuated, charged and leak tested by an MVAC
certified technician, utilizing approved recovery/recycling equipment.
Repair as necessary.
Air conditioner low pressure switch defective. Replace switch.
Air conditioner fan resistor pack defective. Replace resistor pack.
Loose connection, broken wiring or
defective air conditioner relay in air conditioning electrical
circuit. Repair wiring or replace relay as necessary.
Air conditioner has a smell when used
The air conditioner evaporator
drain hose is blocked or partially restricted, allowing condensation
to build up around the evaporator and drainage tray. Clear the drain
hose where it exits the passenger compartment.
Check compressor clutch wiring, electrical connections and compressor clutch, and repair or replace as necessary.
That is the area the air conditioner vent drains. There aren't a lot of fluids possible - coolant, power steering fluid and transmission fluid are the only ones that would be in that position unless your windshield washer fluid leaks from the tubing. Brake fluid would be closer to the wheels. If the air conditioner runs at all it removes moisture from the passenger compartment and drains near the passenger side firewall. All the other fluids would hae a definite smell.
Three possibilities; All related to blown fuses, 1- Fuse blown in the engine compartment LH. 2- Fuse blown in the cabin forward LH below the dashboard (below your legs left hand). 3- Fuse blown in the harness (wire bundles) below the dashboard very easy to reach with your hands “just look underneath steering wheel ". U said " The air conditioner blows, but the air is not cold. " Yes only the fan working which might receiving power independent all from those other mentioned things. If all fuses OK. Then look for broken wires. Regards; MAR
