Motor failed on rear window

Push up and turn the assembly the motor and squirrel cage will drop out

Either the linkage in the door is broken or the window is off track. Either way you will have to remove the door panel to check it out. If any of the plastic clips break when popping off the panel, you can get them at a auto parts store.

it could be the gears are striped in the motor or were the motor attaches to the window regulator gear.

check the heating element (the metal traces on the window) for breaks. a break will cause the circuit to not be complete and power will not flow. if you find a break, there is repair kits for it at auto parts stores. also check fuses. just because the indicator lamp is illuminating does not mean that power is making it to the back of your vehicle.

If modules are involved,then it will be beyond

If a fuse is blown,replacing it won't
likely fix the issue,only blow again

yes it can you wedge it up with a piece of wood after removing the door panel and disconnecting the drive mechanism.

1998 to 2002......there are a few on ebay for $50.....and they are 8 pin connector types. Auto dim, compass, etc. Type in on the ebay motors page "Lincoln Continental Mirror" and you will find it.

One fuse works for all the power windows. It probably has a bad window motor or the lift.

You don't.
There are clips that hold the assembly in. Take off plastic cover that goes from side to side. Then you will see them, they pull straight out.
Both sides come out as an assembly.
