Power Steering Went Out - Filled it and Poured Out?

Power Steering suddenly went out - filled it with some more and poured out on the ground.  There was no noise prior to this or anything.  What could have happened?

If no hose, seals on left or right hand sealing steering house went.
normally they go first. Check protecting rubber bellows over steering arms

Battery and break indicator showed up and power steering went out all at the same time

Are you sure the drive belt is still on the engine ?
The battery light usually comes on when the alternator is not charging the battery, and the power steering is also belt driven.
The brake warning light can come on when the brake fluid is low, but also when the battery light comes on.

In my Grand Marquis 1999 while i am driving suddenly o/d off light is flashing what is the problem, is that possible to be transmission oil ? thanks

Not the trans fluid

Oil only cools, lubes & applies pressure to
the clutch drums & bands

You change trans & power steering fluid
every 3 years or 30,000 miles on ALL Vehicles

Changing trans fluid DOES NOT FIX ANYTHING

You have to have the OD light issue diagnosed

My jeep grand cheorkee has no power steering at all when i went to get my serpentine belt replaced thats when my power steering went can you tell me how to check if my power steering pump went or i might...

Fill is on the left (drivers side) of the unit. Drain is usually on the bottom but some are on the passenger side near the bottom. Both are usually normal wrench size, though I've seen some that use a star wrench or some that have been replaced with a hex female plug. Open the fill plug first because if that one is frozen and you drain it, you won't be able to re-fill.

It overheated, smoking and water pouring

If water poured out you probably busted a hose or radiator sprung a leak. Sounds like that and a bad thermostat or water pump went out.

I poured brake fluids in my powered steering will it damage my car please help

I will say it is not a good thing and the best thing to do is disconnect your power steering hose, drain it, pour a fresh bottle of steering fluid in it, run the engine and drain it again. Refill the power steering reservoir. Jack the front end off the ground and then turn the steering wheel back and forth about 5 times to bleed the system. You should be fine.

Massive Power steering fluid leakage

You have blown a power steering hose. You'll have to drive it to somewhere to fix it if you can't do it. It shouldn't hurt the pump to drive it for a few minutes, but it's going to be stiff.
