Changed car battery of a Ford Focus 1.6 2005 and a code was requested to be placed in order to put on the radio. Can anybody tell me the code or where I could find it? Thanks.

Usually, there is a supplemental manual (just a few pages long) that is with the owner's manual. It will tell you the code and the process to enter it. If you don't have it, you'll have to contact the dealer (who might tell you bad news). I would consider an aftermarket deck if they say you'll have to replace it.

How do I fix this?

When you fit the new battery you will have to reset the radio, the code should be in your manual somewhere, that then should have it work for you. It's when you remove a battery you will lose all memory that your radio had if it's not connected in a short time, unless you use a radio minder whilst changing the battery, hope this helps

I change the battery on my 1999 honda odyssey now the radio ask for a code I call Honda dealer they said to find the code inside sticker inside the glove compartment there is nothing there I'm the 3rd...

The dealer is correct:

But here's a webiste that will help you out. http://www.radio-code.com/Honda-Pay-Page-radio-code-NEW-proced.htm they tell how to remove the radio and wher to find the codes.

Good Luck and tell the kids to hum quietly to themselves until the radio is fixed :)

ALSO, WRITE THE CODE DOWN so if you need to change the battery again, you'll have it. AND for future reference, they make a simple device that you plug into your cigarette lighter socket that has a 9 volt battery attached so when you change the battery, your radio / computer will retain the codes.

My radio stopped working after changing the battery. The manual says I need enter the code. But I didn't see the "SAFE" word on the display when I switch on the radio. Is the radio broken?

The code is set unique for each radio, as it is installed.
It is then supposed to be written down in the owner's manual.
But if it was not, then anyone selling that brand of radio and reset it to a new code that they can tell you. For example, if it is a Blaupunkt radio, then a Mercedes, VW, or even Best Buy store could help you.
But no one here can, because even someone with the same year and model car and radio, would have a different code.

New Battery installed, need a code to use radio

You can pull the radio and get the codes or call the dealer and get them up to you. You will need your vin # in the window and you will have ti have your name on the registration number before they will give it to you.

You need to recover the radio's serial number to decode the 4 digit radio key. The full process and decoder is available here: Porsche Boxster: Online Lost Radio Code Recovery Tool

Uninstall Honda radio

Download the 93-95 civic service manual off hondatech.com.It should be able to tell you step by step all processes needed to take out the standard radio and install a new one, right down to the colour of the wiring and what they're for.
