No check on opening door

Toyota corolla 2005 MMT : opening drive door, sometimes no signal is gave if lights are on when key is removed and no internal light is switched on when door is opened . The door red light on control panel works fine every time door is opened. Please, any suggestion to solve it ? It seems only the red light on conttrol panel recognize the opened door , while all other actions at door opened don't work. May be a false contact on electrical cables ? thank you

In my 2005 Corolla, the "door open" light is

look around the car on each door, you will see a small black switch on which the door shuts on. This switch when open brings on the light and bell. Go around and check by pushing each one of these in. This should stop the light/chime. It works on what is called an open circuit, if you check each of the sensors and the problem persists, then one of the sensors may be faulty or their is a broken wire somewhere in the circuit. For the mean time to stop your battery going flat, remove the interior light globe.

Signal/Dashboard/Brake Lights Are Out! 2005 Toyota Corolla S

Most likely a fuse is bad, get out your owners manual and see which one powers the lights. Buy a good test light and it will help you the rest of your mechanic career. Then you can test the fuses without pulling them out to look at them, and test them electrically. first to confirm they are indeed getting power and then that they are good.

2005 Toyota Corolla problem. My Corolla buzzer comes on when my driver door opens. Also the lights are still on and wont turn off.

the buzzer is coming on because the lights are still on. the car is warning you of this. lights staying on may be a bad sensor or bad light switch.
