No check on opening door

Toyota corolla 2005 MMT : opening drive door,sometimes no signal is gave if lights are on when key is removed and no internal light is switched on when door is opened . The door red light on control panel works fine every time door is opened. Please, any suggestion to solve it ? It seems only the red light on conttrol panel recognize the opened door , while all other actions at door opened don't work. May be a false contact on electrical cables ? thank you
