Question about 1995 Ford Escort
Hi. My Ford Escort 1.6 lx/orion engin 44.920 m. just failed MOT in high CO emission. This are results: Fast Idle Test:CO 0.620 Second Fast Idle Test: CO 0.636 Natural Idle Test: 0.809.! The guy from MOT will do an investigation on monday.... but i want to know what i can do it and what that could be. Any tips before i go there??? also how expensive it could be... cheeerss
High CO usualy means the O2 sensors are not reading properly. Take it to a parts store that can read codes, I know Auto Zone does in my area. If it is the O2 sensor it is an easy fix but the sensors run about $50.00 each.
