My rear speakers on my 99 suburban arent working but they are good we checked them. Is there a plug between the back of the radio and the rear speakers that would work them seperatly that we can check to see why they aren't working

The 99 suburbans have a factory amp to run the rear speakers bypass this amp or replace it.

Check the wires where they go from the body to the rear door(inside the flexable rubber boot) sometimes from opening the rear door the wires tend to get wore out and sometimes break inside the coating check the contanuity w/an ohm. meeter, that should tell you if theirs a broken wire!

1999 GMC Suburban. no sound from radio

there is a plug at the back of the radio connecting it to the vehicle wiring loom. If you can get at thes plug, either from below or by removing the radio unit, make sure the plug is tight and secure. I can't think that the amp has gone or you would have lost all sound, so this is more than likely the problem.

Rear door speakers don't work w/ aftermarket radio in 94 suburban

You need to attach the blue wire on the stereo harness to the blue and white wire on the car adapter harness. they installed a small amplifier to power the rear door speakers and unless you connect those two wires then the speakers will not work.
