Question about 1999 BMW 323 Series
I recently had the brake shoes/pads replaced on the bmw 323i 1999. but the light with the three dashes with a circle in the middle is still on. What is the problem?
It may need to just be reset. turn the key to "run" but do not start and it should turn off within 30 seconds. if it doesn't it sounds like whoever replaced your brakes did't know what they were doing. There is a wear sensor connected to the front brakes and the rear brakes. if the sensor wasn't replaced during the brake job ( wear sensors must be replaced every repair because they wear out) it has to be replaced
