Question about Ford F-150
I have a 2001 Ford F150 with codes B1881 and B1877 that appear when scanned and the airbag light is on all the time. I don't know where to start looking...

Common fault on FORD
Usually due to a poor connection in the YELLOW PLASTIC CONNECTOR underneath the passenger seat.
Just push it together properly and it should clear the AirBag fault

Here's a quick check list
for most common cost of SRS / Air bag problem.
Dirty contacts on driver and passenger seat belt buckles
Dirty contacts on seat belt connectors (under seats)
Dirty contacts on driver and passenger sides weight sensors (under seat)
Weight on passenger seat
(Example: grocery package trigger SRS / Air Bag light on the way home.)
I recommend you to pass an vacuum over the contacts and use CRC electronic parts cleaner to rule out connectivity problem.
I DO NOT recommend disconnecting the negative battery connector to clean the code(s).
Without the code(s) the dealer will takes "BILLABLE" time to reproduce the problem.

disconect the battery
locate the airbag wires under the seat
unplug it on both drivers and passanger seat
spray some brake cleaner or de greaser in to the terminals and blow out with air line
re connect plug connectors
re connect battery
if this doesnt work then you will need subtable diagnostics equipment to read the faults on the airbag system
please let me know if this helps you out
