Re: bad smell coming from RV. waste tanks
Not to be funny but what does it smell like rv battery have been know to give off a distintive sulfur odor when over charged like a bad match and fart smell its horrible and hard to describe but if nottake nitice to your vent pipes on the roof make sure they extend all the wat to the top of the covers also check under your sinks for a vent siphon valve or the drain pipe that looks capped off and goes to nowhere under kitchen sink most times this un terminated pipe has a cap with a rubber check valve that can sick open cause sewer gases to escape into rv

sounds like previous owner did not do the plumbing correctly, 'no kidding' he says.
troubleshoot each line at the hot water tank and cold water tank. and look again for a bypass valve. ours is under the kitchen sink on the back of the hot water tank
I'm assuming you are talking about a washing machine.
You posted this under Cars & Trucks?
I suspect there is an inline filter (coarse plastic mesh) in the standard fill line. It's probable blocked itself with the accumulated calcium in the water.
You could use CLR (Calcium Lime & Rust) solution to dissolve the calcium.
Disconnect the hose and push a small snake device (curtain spring) through the hose until you find where the filter or obstruction is.
IF YOU CAN'T FEEL THE AIR FLOW OUT BUT YOU HEAR THE BLOWER MOTOR WORKING, BEHIND THE GLOVE BOX IS A CABIN FILTER.REPLACE FILTER
IF YOU HAVE GOOD AIR FLOW BUT NO HEAT:
1;VACUUM LEAKING TO HEATER CONTROL
2;WATER PUMP GOING BAD / NOT CIRCULATING COOLANT,HIGH RPM/MORE COOLANT TO THE HEATER CORE
3;OPEN THERMOSTAT/ENGINE TEMPERATURE TO LOW
1;CHANGE THE DIRECTION FROM VENTS TO FLOUR TO WINDSHIELD. IF NOTHING HAPPEN IS THE VACUUM
2;RUN THE ENGINE INSIDE ON WARM PLACE ON IDLE.NOTE THE GAUGE IF PAS 1/2 TO 3/4. IF PAS 3/4 MARK REPLACE WATER PUMP
3;IF GAUGE STAY BELOW 1/2 REPLACE THERMOSTAT
Raise Vehicle ONPASSINGER SIDE And Support with Jack-stands, Get under the PASSINGER SIDE and look for A RUBBER TUBE Protruding from A/C HOUSING ABOUT 1 inch long USE A SMALL FLATHEAD Screwdriver and Gently POKE It the Hole of Drain Tube . Be Careful as the WATER that comes OUT SOMETIMES IS DISGUSTING and SMELLS Awfuland SOMETIMES get CLOGGED up and You have to UNCLOG them.
Im hoping this Answers your Question ans SOLVES the Problem.

I have the same problem, have swapped coils, injectors, plugs and replaced plugs w/ new ac delco iridium plugs. I have flushed out the fuel rail 3 times and tried adding seafoam, iso heet and berryman's B-12 chemtool to the tank over the last 15- 20 tanks of gas. I have also wasted money and cleaned the mass air flow sensor. NOW I FEAR THAT THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER IS GOING BAD DUE TO THE MISFIRES! (smells like sulfer/rotten eggs at times.)There is a service bulletin for contaminates and water in the fuel. It states that the fuel rail is a non-return type. This means that any water or contaminates in the fuel will enter the rail and stay there inturn clogging the injectors. The bulletin states that this causes the misfire on cylinders 1 and 4 during right and lefthand turns. So why is it only P0304 and never P0301? The dealer will charge you 300.00 to flush the injector rail. The problem is compounded by the fact that there is no fuel filter on the HHR except the one in the tank. Evidently that is not good enough to keep contaminates from reaching the fuel rail. I am going to drop my fuel tank and drain all the fuel from the system and refill w/ top tier fuel from a top tier station. Search for top tier fuel on the web. If it comes back again, I am going to get a ford focus. I can't keep worrying about this nonsense. Too bad too because I really like my HHR. Reliability is more important to me now, after all this time and money.
Are you sure the smell comes from the washer water and not the air conditioner? If the washer water smells you will smell it strongest on the windscreen on the outside of the car. Check this to be sure you have located the source of the smell.
Commonly smells inside the car come from the air conditioner because there is mould growing on the air filters. These can be taken out and cleaned to get rid of the smell. Look in your user manual for guidance on how to do it.
