Fob still won't work after new battery and nothing wrong with the contact inside, do not hae original code for the Kia sportage 1998 so what is the next best thing ,to do?

When replacing the key fob battery there is no reprogramming required! If the key fob was working prior to the battery replacement then it would point to the contacts not being correct! Remove key fob battery and start again!

I'm trying to start my 2005 kia sportage and it's not starting. There is no clicking or anything just silence. What is it? the battery, starter, alternator?

Look for loose or corroded battery cables first. You may have a light on too that is draining the battery. Look in the glove box and make sure the light goes out when the door is closed. Same thing if there is a light under the hood.

No start 2001 kia sportage

Make sure that you have all the wires to the positive cable hooked up. It sounds like you've either had a wire that you've possibly left off, or a ground wire problem. Is there a power distribution box next to the battery? Check it for corrosion and at the banjo clamp at your battery for corrosion as well.

My 1998 kia sportage does not start, something is draining the battery, had the alternator, started and battery tested, all good. So what's draining the battery!

The #1 most common cause is lights being left on or lights coming on at night when the temperature drops. Lighted visors are a common problem.

If you know about Kia I need help

Locate the fluid reservoir and the pump attached to it. First, remove and reinstall the electrical connector. Does it work? If was corrosion. If not, check to see if you have voltage coming to the connector with a tester when an assistant hits the button. If no, switch or fuse. If so, pump may be bad. Also, you can often run a wire from the pump to the + on the battery to get the pump to run. Not sure if the pump can be purchased separate from the tank.
