Question about 1995 Chevrolet Blazer
95 blazer with vortec spark is fine fuel is not replaced fuel pump wasn't it fuel filter is fine getting 5 volts to the pump- rewired - pump kicks on still no start! any clue?
Not all replacement fuel pumps work right out of the box. I had the heartbreak of replacing two of them before getting one to provide the right starting pressure (50 to 60 psi).
Connect a fuel pressure guage to the fuel port located at the rear of the engine to the right of the distributor cap. Be careful not to lose the cap when you take it off the fuel port.
The pressure has to be checked when the engine is cranking..Make sure the relays for the oil pressure and the fuel pump are working correctly - they are located in the rear of your glovebox. Both are necessary to allow your engine to start.

You have to put a guage on it to find out the pressure it may kick on but not enough pressure
