    I mean a aftermarket part.

  • hsk6 Apr 17, 2009

I have tried 3 spare parts shops in denmark and looked on the internet. It seems like I have to order the part at the local nissan dealer. I thought i would be easy finding an aftermarket part.

yes. you can buy the outer cv boot for arounf 14 euro. The inner boot cost around 90 euro at the local nissan dealer. thats life.

Looks like you are indeed stuck, but the factory part is the best.

I have a golf gti automatic. It makes a grinding when comming to stop and when frewheeling at low speed. i've checked brake pads and there fine

cv joint going bad, grease and boot may fix, probably caused by a cracked cv boot, and now the grease is gone, first thing to check is the boot on the cv joint (that's the shaft/joint that turns the wheels)attatches by a single nut in center of your front wheel (outer joint) if not the outer, then ck the inner (attatches to the transmission) (inner joint). most likely is the outer joint though

Where do i pour the new gearbox oil in when im replacing it on a 93 nissan 100nx 1600cc And where would i find a gti engine also

Is this an automatic or manual transmission? If automatic it goes into the transmission dipstick tube, if manual where is a fill plug under the car on the side of the transmission case. You will need a suction lube gun to put the gear lube into the manual transmission, fill to just below the fill plug threads. If auto make sure the transmission is hot to the touch before adding fluid, DO NOT OVERFILL EITHER TYPE OF TRANSMISSION, THIS GOES DOUBLE FOR THE AUTOMATIC GEARBOX.

I have a Mazda Midge 1998 whick was damaging the left CV joint regularly. After replacement of all suspension parts I diagnosed the problem to the gearbox. Drive and all the load is only on the left drive...

hj there this is perfectly normal because the left wheel is the drive wheel on a basic front wheel drive gearbox,Check if the shaft is not bent secondly inner CV TRIPOD could be worn. Left front chassis leg could have bent due to accident or impact .Outer CV my have been fitted incorrectly.

THINK DRIVESHAFT HAS GONE BUT WHICH SIDE

If drive shaft is gone replace it. Raise the car once more Look at the cv boots and shaft put car in nuetral car off key in ignition shift selector in neutral emergency brake on. position yourself by the wheel and observe the cv boot and joints rotate unisom or together on one side if not replace it check on both sides inner and outer. Then check opposite wheel
