2004 sebring... not 2006 as previous post...will not start. Cranks, but seems to be getting no gas. Was driving it and daughter said felt like power steering was out so she pulled over and turned it off....

What I would do first is see if you can get a bit of gas down the throat of the throttle body. crank it. if it stars then you know that it is more than likely a fuel pump, relay or fuse.

I have a 2002 chrysler sebring everytime i turn headlights on the vehicle dies and wont restart i am clueless has new battery runs fine until u turn on headlights

Check the condition and tension of the alternator drive belt. Have a test done on the alternator as it appears that there is insufficient current to cover the large current draw for the lights.

Engine will turn over freely but will not start. engine was running when it sputtered and died and will not restart on a 2000 Crysler Sebring Coupe, 2.5, 2 door. May have ran out of gas. added 5 gal but...

see if the cam is turning when trying to start the engine (look through the oil filler cap) if its not, you may have a broken timing belt (and engine damage) if it wasn't empty on the fuel gauge I doubt it ran out of gas.

After running for 10 minutes car died on the road. Gauges were working, no idiot lights were on. Battery and alternator dont seem to be an issue. Believe its the fuel pump. Where is it located on a 2004...

The fuel pump is in the gas tank. but the next time it dies you might want to check and see if it has spark. If it don't it could be a problem with the crank sensor and then you would have replaced the fuel pump for nothing. Good luck

2004 chrysler sebring idle speed is too slow. HOw

why do you want your rpms higher while idling? you don't want them high because your gas bill will reflect that. slow shouldn't matter but if it's dying while on idle it could either be your mass air flow sensor or your fuel filter being clogged

Replace the distributor. This is the cause of many problems with the engine running on those cars. It contains the cam sensor, the coil and has been a thorn in many a side.

2004 sebring 2.7 engine, will strt when cold but not when warm

more than likely a bad crank sensor but not knowing if there are codes might also be a cam sensor,it is deffently a electrical componet problem hot soak of the motor will break down bad electrical sensors,
