Question about 1999 Mazda MX-5 Miata

1999 mazda miata that would start

I have a 1999 Mazda Miata that has being parked for alittle over six month. Before being stored in my driveway the car had very low lights and was stalling before starting the engine. However, I replaced the battery with a new one but the engine would still stall and after being parked for this period in time, it will not crank or start at all. Do you have any suggestions or solutions to this proble?

Drained the old gas from the gas tank and refilled it with new, also replaced the gas filter and charged up the battery.

Miata has 61000 miles want replace timing belt to be on safe side

California has a law that Mazda guarantees the timing belt will last 105,000. I drove my 1999 Miata that long before I replaced it. Mazda ia a non interactive motor which means that if the belt breaks the car stalls and won't go anywhere. No damage to engine if it breaks.
