Question about Chevrolet C1500
87 chevy truck with 350. misses and changed plugs wires and wires. there was no excessive fuel on plugs. throttle body is cleand and aslo cleand distributer cap. what shouldi do next.
I would recheck the timing first. iven it is off readjust. if this doesn't solve it ,then replace the knock sensor which is located on the back of the engine just where the trans and block connect on the passenger side. if the problem still exists then it's most likely an internal problem involving a worn cam/lifter. if a lobe on the cam or a lifter is severly worn your valves don't open like they should thus causing a miss.
