I would recheck the timing first. iven it is off readjust. if this doesn't solve it ,then replace the knock sensor which is located on the back of the engine just where the trans and block connect on the passenger side. if the problem still exists then it's most likely an internal problem involving a worn cam/lifter. if a lobe on the cam or a lifter is severly worn your valves don't open like they should thus causing a miss.

My 93 Chevy truck 4.3 has a miss in it I replaced the plugs, wires ,distributor ,and rotor .and all of the filters ,and belts . And still have the same miss in it ? It starts perfect but idles rough .

you could have a burnt valve on the cylinder that's misfiring ! Do a compression test ! could have bad fuel injector ! What type of fuel injection does yours have TBI - throttle body injection , MFI - multiport fuel injection . Pull plug wires one at a time to see what cylinder is not contributing !

87 chevy 350 tbi will only start if if pour gas in the throddle body then keep it running by pumping the peddle. It seems to starve at higher rpms, and when it does idle the rpm's swing from hig

Sounds like the fuel pump is going bad(or in this case, has gone bad). I suggest that you change the fuel pump and use a fuel cleaner in your gas tank as dirty gas may have caused the problem to begin with.

My 200sx will start and run fine untill you go for a drive then it has trouble boosting over 5psi it has a spluter and it pops between 5 and 10 psi but after about and hour of driveing it clears out

Have the plug wires and the rest of the ignition ever been changed? Start with the plug wires and also have the fuel pressure checked under a load. Check for jumped cam timing and blocked exhaust as well causing excessive back pressure.

Can you here the fuel pump running?no, check fuse, and pump relay. Check pump fuel pressure,at the fuel injector rail,or throttle body. Check for voltage at the top wiring on the fuel nozzel. While cranking look for pulsating voltage.None, test computer, scan system. let me know the outcome.

1990 chevy blazer 350 ci throttle body fuel injected . the motor is flooding out u can see the injectors keep dumping fuel into the throttle body

Sounds like you have an injector leaking. Have someone just cycle the key on and off to run the fuel pump but don't crank the engine. If you see fuel dripping from the injectors, unbolt the injector cover on the throttle body, remove the injectors and replace the orings around the injectors.

sounds like your egr valve is gummed up or bad. this is located behind the throttle body and has a single vaccum tube connected to it. if the diafram is still good you can remove it and clean it with WD 40 until the plunger works smooth

Running rich think its a fuel regulator problem

need alot more this multiport fuel injection or does it have the two injectors in throttle body......... is the check engine light on has any one pulled codes.. while engine is at an idle.. look in throttle body and look at the fuel being injected... they should be clean looking fans...they have problems with those injectors... if you see one that is dripping and appears to be dumping in to much fuel in intake check injector and injector orings....also where the wires to the injectors exit the round spacer the wires have known to be pinched grounding the injector causing excessive fuel flow let me know

87 chevy truck with TBI idles too fast

Spray the intake with carb cleaner to find the vacuum leak. Check where the EGR mounts and the throttle body gasket sense you had both off.
