Question about 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
I was told I need to replace the ignition coils for cylinders 2 and 3 as well as the spark plugs and wires. The EGR valve needs to be replaced also. I've done the spark plugs and wires a few times, but have no clue what I'm doing with the ignition coils and EGR valve. Can anyone walk me through this? I really appreciate your time. Thanks!!
Well I went ahead and took a go at changing the coils, plugs and wires yesterday. It literally took maybe 15 minutes and my hands didn't even get dirty. This is something that the auto place wanted to charge me 650 to do. I spent 200 on parts. I didn't realize the coils were the things sitting on top of the spark plugs. I think my 4 year old could've done it. All I had to do was unbolt the coils detach the wires and then replace. It was too simple.

I can help you with the coils. The coils are screwed to the valve cover. All you need to do is unplug them , attach the new ones and plug them back in. It is very easy to do. Tha EGR valve needs morre work.
