Question about 2002 Mercury Cougar
I took the whole center console out of my car and i just cant figure out how to get the radio out
Thare are 2 little holes on each side of the radio unit 2 on right and 2 on left. you half to go to a audiotronics store such as best buy and get special tool to slide into these holes once you slide the tools into the holes push> on right side and < on left side while pulling straight out. all this must be done at same time. note- when you slide the tools into the holes onlypush them in till thay stop dont force

You can purchase the special tool to take it out at any auto parts store. Its about 6-8 dollars depending on where you go.
