Question about 2006 Volkswagen Jetta
The problem is the contact ring under the steering wheel... the best solution involves removing the steering wheel (not a good idea if you aren't trained because of the airbag).. second best fix is to unplug the wire(s) from the horn(s) itself under the hood and insulate it to prevent shorting and melting the wire or otherwise damaging electrical system... pretty unsatisfactory though as you no longer can honk at the 8 trillion idiots out there!
